On Wednesday, it was revealed that Rusev, now known as Miro in AEW, has officially re-signed with WWE after being spotted at the company’s headquarters in Stamford, CT. Several sources have confirmed his return, but there’s a twist—his wife, CJ Perry (formerly Lana), wasn’t with him, sparking rumors about her own future with WWE.
Dave Meltzer has reported that while Rusev is back, Lana isn’t expected to follow suit. He shared, “Miro signed, and CJ didn’t. I haven’t heard anything definitive about her, but from what I gather, it seems she won’t be coming back. But you never know, things could change.”
Meanwhile, former WWE Superstar Mojo Rawley has found incredible success after leaving the company.
During a recent chat on the “SHAK Wrestling” podcast, Mojo opened up about how he quickly turned his personal brand into a profitable business after his WWE release. He seemed both surprised and proud of how quickly things took off outside the ring, saying, “Personally, it took me just three or four months to start earning more than I did in my best year with WWE. It was pretty wild. After spending a decade building my brand in WWE, it was crazy to see how fast I was able to monetize ‘Mojo’ and ‘Stay Hyped’ without being tied to the company.”
Mojo also co-founded Paragon Talent Group, a company that now works with talent across WWE, AEW, TNA, NJPW, and the independent circuit. He shared how the company’s focus has evolved, saying, “At first, we were doing third-party brand deals, sponsorships, and endorsements, but now we’re handling long-term contracts with major companies like WWE, AEW, and New Japan. We’ve expanded into organizing autograph signings and even placing talent in movies, TV shows, and commercials.”
