Randy Orton Returns to WWE Elimination Chamber 2025, Attacks Kevin Owens After Brutal Match with Sami Zayn

Following his unofficial match against Sami Zayn at WWE Elimination Chamber, Randy Orton made a comeback to assault Kevin Owens.

Trashcans, ringbells, tables, and chairs—including one chair covered in barbed wire—were all heavily utilised during the horrific match between Owens and Zayn. Three different referees were also needed for the fight; Owens pulled the first one into a Helluva Kick, and he knocked out the second after Zayn kicked out of a pin attempt.

Zayn was able to hit the Helluva Kick for a near-fall after producer Pete Williams appeared at ringside and begged Owens to halt the assault. Before launching a Blue Thunderbomb onto the chair for a near-fall, Zayn struck Owens twice across the back with the wired chair, throwing him face-first into it with a drop-toe hold. Zayn attempted to deliver another Helluva Kick but was thwarted by a pop-up powerbomb, which sent him sliding to the ground with his neck in a hold. After repeatedly dropping power bombs onto the ring apron, Owens led him into the ring for the decisive pinfall.

After the game, Owens was being led off the field, but he went back to push through the security, revealing the concrete, and attempted to push a dead Zayn onto it. Orton’s music then began to play to announce his comeback, where he would face the man who had sidelined him for a fight and subsequent RKO. After grabbing a chair and attempting to use it on Owens, Orton dropped it and prepared to punt, but officials intervened as Owens backed away. Orton stared at the WrestleMania sign as he concluded the segment by giving the officials several RKOs.
