Ricky Saints Takes Center Stage in WWE NXT, Defeats Wes Lee After Chaos in Tag Team Match

Ricky Saints may have been weirded out by the way things go down in WWE over these last few weeks, but he is off to a fantastic start for a winning record after standing tall in the main event of this week’s edition.

Saints and Je’Von Evans were in tag team action against Ethan Page and Wes Lee, but this soon changed practically into a singles match as Evans and Page started to brawl into the audience, abandoning their positions in the ring. Clearly, the feud is not finished, and the statements by Trick Williams earlier in the program about he and Evans not being the same (Evans battling over his “smile” while Williams is sad over losing the NXT Championship) have generated even more aggression in The Young OG.

As it came down to just Saints and Lee, Saints secured the victory with his Roshambo finisher, also being sure to strike some other characteristic maneuvers throughout the match including his usual spear, revved up from bell to bell.

An enthusiastic Saints rejoiced in the ring to close the event, snatching a sign from the crowd and executing his characteristic pose.
